MATERNITY :: LYDIA

This is a very special post for me to write. Lydia & Jon have been dear friends before MY John and I got married. We got married a week apart from each other and Lydia and I are due the same week! Lydia is having a girl which means arranged marriage for our kids.

The past 8 months Lydia and I have bonded quite a bit. We both suffered from extreme morning sickness that seemed to linger around forever. We both lost weight and ended up in ER at one point. It was great to have someone that felt just as horrible as you but still sucked that we had to go through it. In the mist of our suffering and excitement Jon and Lydia found out their baby girl had a heart defect. It was such heart wrenching news to hear but we have seen God work in every aspect of her pregnancy. Little Miss Charlotte seems to be a tough/strong little girl just like her mama! MATERNITY :: ERIKA PART ONE

I am pretty sure I have girl crush on Erika! ha ha You are a hottie Erika! Erika contacted me super last minute to take maternity shots and I am soooooooooo happy it worked out! Baby Sargent is coming in less than 4 weeks and  mom barely looks pregnant! We had an a great time and I am super excited about how these photos turned out. I wanted to post some of just Erika (we also did shots with her husband) because I just love them!  Deep down inside I really feel that maternity shots should really be all about the woman who is carrying the baby! Nothing against all you husbands out there..but it should be about your wife! Most women are glowing during this time and its important to capture it! With that said I am in LOVE with these photos of the beautiful Mrs. Sargent! Hurry up and get here baby Sargent, your photo shoot is next :) !

LINDSAY MATERNITY

I was sooooo excited when my friend Lindsay asked me to take some maternity shots of her!!! She is almost 34 weeks and is expecting a little boy. As of now his name is "boo boo." This is her first baby and her pregnancy has been full of excitement ;). We cannot wait to meet little "boo boo."
