BRIDAL:: SHOWER

I had the great opportunity of photographing a beautiful Bridal Shower a couple of weeks ago. Lindye Galloway who the is the owner of Lindye Galloway Events did great job on some homemade decor for the shower. Everything was simple and elegant! If you are in need of a creative event planner in Orange County or anywhere in the world, contact Lindye! Wonderful job and I hope you enjoyed your lemonade and cupcakes!

SENIOR:: SARA MOY

This is SARA! I was so excited when she contacted me over summer to do her senior pictures. I met Sara when she was a freshie/soph @ rockharbor church. I was working with the High School ministry there. We spent some great time together while I was there.I left the ministry when I got married and can't believe how much time has passed!! Now my Sara is all grown up and graduating! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

Anyways, those rings on her fingers are CIF CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS for softball. Yes, she has more than 1! Deep down inside I was super jealous because I always wanted one (but I played for a crap high school in a super amazing league). Pretty much she is a baller softball player.

I know she is itching/dying to see some pictures from today, so I had to post a couple. Enjoy love!

SOWERS :: FAMILY

There are no words to describe this family, except for: utterly wonderful! The Sower's Family is my 2nd family. We have laughed, cried, laughed a little more, pray together and laugh again. Their door is always open and I always seem to find myself walking in and eating their food :) Nothing can replace them and I love them all sooooo much, even nugget (their dog I almost killed) xoxo

ART:: PROJECT

My husband and I decided to have a little "creative" day. I had this color blocking image in my mind for about a week. My inspiration came from none other than LEGOS. yup legos. I just so happen to be playing around with some cool color ones and there was my vision. Next thing you know I had to design my vision to show my husband and then we were off to home depot to search for some thin wood. Our total bill was $10.00. Now that is my kind of art! Luckily for us we already had paint (john and I both paint in our spare..spare...spare time). I know that is hard to believe but this our 2nd paint project together. I am more abstract and john is well more....look at picture and paint it person.

Anyways.... I realized that I love paint tape. It made the best straight lines ever. The best thing about the wood was that it was smooth and the acrylic paint dried super fast on it. I would also like to pat myself on the back for mixing the right about paint for every color. If you know anything about painting, its near impossible to make the same color twice. So thank you kate for making the right amount.

I would also like to give my husband props for figuring out how to hang our master piece. This wood is thin but still has some junk in the trunk weight on it. We did not buy any mounting stuff cause we figure we could think of something and well we did. A staple gun, wire and 10lb fishing wire (we ran out of the good wire and had to improvise with fishing wire). ha ha it worked.

heres to an art project that was fun, turned out great and involved no fighting. :)
